SARA (Shareholder Accounting & Registration Application) is RBC Dexia Investor Services' proprietary system, offering efficient and effective management of shareholders' registers. Designed to meet both retail and institutional investment needs, SARA is continuously updated and modified to keep pace with the ever-changing funds environment. Accessible through a client server or via an Internet interface, this application operates in real time and is available in English, as well as in five other languages. It includes multi-currency, multi-class, multi-share class and multi-promoter applications, and has the capability to handle both accumulating and distributing share classes.

Easily customisable to meet clients' needs, SARA is modular (input, inquiry, reports, reconciliation, cash, administration, etc.) and allows you to maintain a high level of rights' access control. It is easy to grant limited access to promoters, distributors and back offices while maintaining a high degree of control over the visualisation of clients' data.

SARA's functionalities include:
  • Management of commission structures (front-end load, CDSC, trailer fees)
  • Automation of corporate action events (dividends, splits, mergers)
  • Complete interfacing functionalities for:
    • Custodian systems
    • Paying Agent systems
    • Accounting systems (loading of NAVs)
    • Other transactional systems (SWIFT, NSCC)
