RBC Dexia Investor Services maintains a high standard of quality in everything we do.
  • SAS 70 Type II certification for Shareholder services (since 2000) and Fund Administration and Custody services (since 2001). SAS 70 examination (US Statement on Auditing Standard N°70) is an internationally recognised auditing standard. It requires the opinion of an independent auditing firm on the quality of the control environment of a service organisation, including accuracy, completeness, authorisation, timeliness, integrity of standing data and segregation of duties. There are two types of reports. Type I describes the service organisation's set of controls documented in the procedures at a specific point in time. Type II report includes the testing of the controls to ensure they are effective and efficient. Beyond the description of the controls, the report includes the tests performed by the auditor and the results.
  • Successful completion of independent audits of our custody control procedures conducted by external auditors, including for example, Report on key internal controls and safeguards (Canada), and Auditing Guidance Statement (AGS) 1026 "Superannuation Funds – Auditors Report on Externally Managed Assets" (Australia)
